Proposed ASTM standard WK53634 will cover nondestructive testing method – process compensated resonance testing (PCRT) – that detects structural defects in new and in-service parts for planes, cars, power generation systems, and more. Interested parties are invited to share their expertise in developing this proposed standard, which will also describe how screenings are implemented and used on day-to-day basis, outline applications relevant to screenings, and identify method limitations.
