Offering ERA 4000 upgrade, mechanically-compatible ECA 4000 comes in ODs from 104–560 mm. Each ring has 3-point centering method, and feedback to control is supported via high speed serial interface Endat 2.2. For largest ring diameter, accuracy of ±1.5 arc sec is specified for graduation, and each ring is capable of resolutions to sub 0.01 arc sec.  Also, 2-track graduation design is resistant to contamination. Scanning units also come in Fanuc 05 and Mitsubishi 03-4 serial interfaces.
