Aurora is an established supplier of skilled manpower to ESA and in particular at ESTEC and ESAC. After recent strong growth to over 60 personnel we need to expand our team to support the administration of the personnel. Overview Aurora is expanding and this creates a new opportunity in the small management and administration team. The main focus will be supporting the travel bookings and processing of the mission claims. The work will be performed from our new open plan office location close to ESTEC. Additional functions can also be considered in the sphere of HR support and administration. For the processing of travel the following tasks are required Ensure that employees have a fully authorised travel request. Forwarding and managing booking of flights and trains to the travel agent ATPI. Checking that the travel claims are correctly completed. Entering the reimbursements for the travel claims into the accounts. Maintaining the cost reports with each travel. Providing the complete travel package to the Prime company when we are subcontractor. Validating travel claims from our subcontractors when we are prime. We use Excel extensively to automatically generate forms and the inputs to the summary report. We are investigating a tool to allow employees to scan their receipts into the cloud via mobile phone, from where we can authorise receipts and generate the costs reports. Specific Requirements The candidate requires the following qualities Good IT skills to be able to work with various IT systems. Ability to further improve the Excel files with functions would be a benefit. Good communication in English, the working language. Friendly nature and able to work within a small team. Ability to learn, adapt and appreciate success. Legal and Security Requirements All applicants must be legally allowed to work in The Netherlands Applicants are required to provide a copy of their passport. Prior to issuing a letter of employment the applicant shall provide to Aurora a recent official document declaring that they are of good conduct from the country where currently resident. Location The work will be performed at the Aurora office, Noordwijk, The Netherlands. Contract The selected candidate will receive good salary. Will be registered for both social security and tax in the Netherlands. The standard working hours are 15 per week spread over 5 days. There are 12 public holidays and an additional 30 annual days holiday. The Flexibility of working hours is important and reciprical in both directions. Aurora contributes to a company pension scheme.
