Position Reference 052 You will have the opportunity to provide support on both Swarm and Aeolus missions. Tasks and Activities The scope of work will include Aeolus PDGS Operational Validation Qualification including operational validation and the below Aeolus PDGS software applications Aeolus Processing Facility APF and scientific processors and QC tools integrated into the APF application Aeolus Mission Management and Planning Facility MMPF and associated external tools e.g. Gantt, Savoir Aeolus Calibration and Monitoring Facility ACMF and scientific processors and QC tools integrated into the ACMF application Aeolus Data Dissemination Facility ADDF and any associated subcomponents of the Aeolus Data Dissemination Facility ADDF Aeolus System Monitoring Facility HORUS Aeolus scientific processors and quality control tools Updated configurations files and settings e.g. PDGS baseline management configuration Skills and Experience The following skills and experience are mandatory You have a University degree or equivalent qualification in a technical discipline, preferably in Earth Observation or Computer Science. You have experience on Payload Data Ground segment architecture andor operations. You have the capacity to acquire in depth technical understanding and knowledge of PDGS systems overall architecture, data flows, interfaces, dependencies in a limited time You have a proven experience with configuration management, change control and release management Proactiveness, good communication skills, team player You are results oriented You have the capacity to work autonomously You have the capacity to generate good documentation. You are fluent in English. You have experienceknowledge on PDGS validation activities or similar. You have the capacity to acquire in depth technical understanding and knowledge of all Aeolus PDGS systems overall architecture data flows, interfaces, dependencies in a limited time You have proven experience with structured best practices, processes and methodologies.
