Altice USA unveils high-end Amplify smart speaker from USD 399

(Telecompaper) Cable operator Altice USA has teamed up with French audio specialist Devialet to unveil a high-end smart speaker complete with Alexa-powered voice control. The new Altice Amplify features two long stroke Diamond woofers, designed by Devialet, a 19v, 7.5 A peak amp and six far-field microphones, which are engineered to pick up sound from across the room, said the company. It also comes with built-in Alexa, including access to more than 90,000 skills, ranging from entertainment to productivity, games and more.
