Analysts have mixed views on the remainder of Landstar System Inc.'s year , after the company posted a lackluster first quarter due to an accident that led to a one-time $4.5 million expense for the Jacksonville company. Experts agree that had the settlement not hit the company so hard - costing Landstar 6 cents per share - the logistics firm would have hit its guidance range of 71 cents to 76 cents, rather than landing at 67 cents for the first quarter.
