Position Reference 510 You will have the opportunity to provide engineer support Antenna SubMillimetre Waves Section. Tasks and Activities The scope of work will include Providing expert technical support to ESA projects, programmes and general studies throughout all project phases, specifically in the field of TTC and PDT antennas Participating in project reviews and performing inhouse design and tradeoffs to support projectspecific technology developments Defining, initiating and monitoring RD activities covering both long and shortterm needs, specifically in the field of TTC and PDT antennas Monitoring applicable scientific and technological trends and maintaining stateoftheart expertise in TTC and PDT antennas. Skills and Experience The following skills and experience are mandatory You have a PhD or Msc Engineering from a recognised Institution of secondary studies University, Ecole suprieure, etc. or equivalent. You have at least 4 years of relevant experience in a similar position. You have experience in TTC and PDT antennas, architectures and technologies as applied to space. You have knowledge of antenna Space constraints at RF, mechanical, thermal and environmental levels gained from the handling of Flight Model development or RD development at high TRL level. You have knowledge of antenna industrial manufacturing, testing processes, architecture and technologies. You have expertise in using antenna modelling tools GRASP8, POS4, CHAMP, HFSS.
