(Telecompaper) Apple has announced iTunes Radio, a free internet radio service featuring more than 200 stations and a catalogue of music from the iTunes Store, combined with the features of iTunes. When users tune into iTunes Radio they have access to stations inspired by music the user already listens to, Featured Stations curated by Apple and genre-focused stations that are personalised for the user. iTunes Radio evolves based on the music the user plays and downloads and also gives them access to "first listen" premieres from top selling artists, Siri integration, and the ability to tag or buy music with one click. iTunes Radio will also be the home to special events including live streams direct from the iTunes Festival in London and other exclusive iTunes Sessions. iTunes Radio is ad-supported and free for everyone. iTunes Match users get iTunes Radio ad-free. iTunes Radio will be available in fall 2013.
