Due to its stable arc characteristics, Select 430LCb-Mod promotes accelerated travel speeds with reduced burn-through and spatter. Chrome content, combined with stabilization from niobium and titanium, provides heat and corrosion resistance similar to base materials which are welded. Available in .045, .052, and 1/16 in. dia, this metal cored, ferritic electrode also handles poor fit-up and gaps, is enhanced for weld applicability, and fosters welding of thinner materials.
