Avago Technologies Not Ready To Rest On Its Laurels

Avago diversified its product lineup with its buy of LSI Logic, announcing plans to acquire the chipmaker in December for $6.6 billion. The deal closed in May and gives Avago exposure to networking and storage chips, which should see strong demand as cloud and mobile computing gain traction.
