CEO: Citizens sees business-lending uptick in western Pennsylvania

The Pittsburgh region continues to play a big role in Citizens Financial Group's growth strategy, Chairman and CEO Bruce Van Saun said Tuesday following the Providence, R.I.-based bank's release of second-quarter earnings. "Our western Pennsylvania practice continues to be very strong and we had some nice business wins during the quarter," Van Saun told the Business Times.
