CEO turnover slows in November; one Austin CEO departs

Though turnover among the nation's chief executives dropped off in November compared to a month earlier, overall departures by CEOs are up nearly 8 percent so far this year. About 104 CEO departures were recorded in November compared to 122 in October, according to monthly data released by Chicago-based outplacement consultancy Challenger, Gray & Christmas Inc. The November figure was up nearly 10 percent from the same month a year earlier.
