With a long history supporting the Special Olympics, CITGO Petroleum Corp. is this year's official fuel sponsor of the Unified Relay Across America, a nationwide race leading up to the 2015 Special Olympics World Summer Games in Los Angeles beginning on July 25. The Unified Relay begins in the Unites States on May 26 and is designed to celebrate diversity, respect and inclusion for people with intellectual disabilities. The race will be held over 46 days, when participants throughout the country will exchange the torch hand by hand, ultimately delivering it to Los Angeles for the launch of the World Summer Games.
