CSX says operating metrics should stabilize in fourth quarter

After four quarter of mostly declining performance, CSX Corp. anticipates the percentage of its trains leaving and arriving on time should stabilize in the final quarter of 2014. "CSX is working to put the right people and resources in the right places, combined with process improvements and increased communication with our peers, to serve the broad-based growth we continue to see across nearly all markets that we serve," CSX Chief Transportation Officer Cindy Sanborn told an industry conference on Friday.
