Times of India: Devastating floods in Jammu & Kashmir are already raising alarm about climate change induced extreme weather events, now the World Meteorological Organization's (WMO) Greenhouse Gas Bulletin released on Tuesday revealed some grim statistics.
The Greenhouse Gas Bulletin showed that between 1990 and 2013 there was a 34% increase in radiative forcing or the warming effect on climate because of long-lived greenhouse gases (GHG) such as carbon dioxide (CO2), methane and nitrous oxide.
