(Telecompaper) The Chinese online game market has sees significant growth in recent years due to the increasing availability of internet services, the government's policy support, and the emergence of mobile game consumers. China's online game market passed the CNY 100 billion (approximately USD 16.1 billion) milestone in 2014 with the value reaching CNY 114.5 billion for 37.7 percent year-on-year growth. For the first time, mobile game sales surpassed desktop PC game sales at CNY 27.5 billion, according to a report by MIC (Market Intelligence & Consulting Institute), a Taipei-ICT based ICT research institute.
