Cisco adds Skype for Business to video rooms

2016-08-16 12:25:00| Telecompaper Headlines

(Telecompaper) Cisco announced the new Cisco Meeting Server, making it possible for Skype for Business users to connect to Cisco videoconferencing rooms. Cisco said the new functionality comes in response to customer demand, where businesses want remote and home workers to be able to also participate in video conferences using the Microsoft system. Cisco said the system offers a standard, familiar look and feel, optimises bandwidth use, ensures the same level of security and also works with lower-cost, standard Cisco UCS hardware. Cisco Meeting Server is available to order now, with Cisco Capital financing provided in over 100 countries.
