Greenwire: Nuclear waste from the shuttered San Onofre Nuclear Generating Station in California will be moved to long-term storage beside the Pacific Ocean, the state's Coastal Commission voted unanimously yesterday. Commissioners said they lacked any viable alternative to granting plant owner Southern California Edison Co. (SCE) a permit to build a new storage facility.
