Coleco formally pulls out of Chameleon, retro console disappears in a puff of vapor

The too-good-to-be-true Retro VGS console has been proven exactly that. Coleco has pulled out of the project and the Coleco Chameleon -- billed as being able to play games from multiple console generations via FPGA emulation as opposed to relying on software implementations -- is no more.
