Capable of operating in any orientation, 306 x 358 x 66 mm CXY-BS Series attains linear velocities to 150 mm/sec and has clean design with apertureless frame. Components include brushless servo motor directly coupled to zero backlash precision ground ball screws; crossed roller bearings; hi-res (0.1 µm) linear SS scale encoder; and optical limit switches with home. Orthogonality (10 arcsec) and parallelism enable X/Y travel with 10 µm linear accuracy and 1 µm linear repeatability.
