The "Girls Just Wanna Have Fun" singer is among an elite list of nominees to join the organization, which pays tribute to the best songwriters in the music business. The Associated Press reports that the other performing songwriters nominated include rockers Tom Petty, Elvis Costello, Steve Winwood and Steve Miller.
