Honeywell Technology Solutions HTS dynamically expands its activities in research and development RD centre in Brno, Czech Republic. Established in 2003, this is the largest RD centre in Europe for Honeywell. Our engineers and scientists develop products and technologies that are linked to our business units Aerospace, Automation and Controls Solutions and Transportation Systems. This position is a part of Aerospace group, the worlds leading supplier of avionics systems, products and services for commercial and business aircraft as well as for defense and space applications. This position is opened for Communications, Navigations and Surveillance CNSteam in Brno, with primary focus on software development for satellite communication units SATCOM used in Airbus and Boeing aircrafts. The units are located within aircraft and provide data and voice communication between aircraft and the control tower on the ground. Work as a software engineer to investigate and fix software change requests in aircraft communication products and tools Update and create System and Software Requirements, Software Development documentation, and Verification Validation documentation Setup of SW environment on a real target HW platform Real Time Operating System RTOS Develop, test and debug embedded SW for RTOS running on a HW prototype Requirements Minimum Bachelors Degree in Software Engineering, or equivalent Knowledge of C C programming Team player, analytical type, good communication skills Fluent knowledge of English Solid experience with C programming is strongly preferred Experience with embedded SW is nice to have
