Dutch live viewing sinks 9% to 151 min in May

(Telecompaper) Watching the large television screen in the Netherlands dropped considerably in May, according to figures from ratings group SKO. The warm weather probably played a role. Total time people spent on the big screen amounted to 165 minutes, 6.8 percent less than last year, while watching live TV declined 9.0 percent to 151 minutes. This means that for the other types of viewing, for example, VOD, are left with 14 minutes (+ 27%). Of the total viewing time, 9.6 percent was spent on delayed viewing, against 7.9 the year earlier.
