European Parliament rejects draft copyright reform, new vote planned for Sept

(Telecompaper) The European Parliament has rejected the proposed copyright reform approved by its Legal Affairs Committee. As a result, the legislation will be amended further before negotiations can start with the Council and Commission on a final text of the new directive.
