FAA has entered into Pathfinder agreement with CACI International Inc. to evaluate how the company's technology can help detect Unmanned Aircraft Systems in the vicinity of airports. Agreement provides proven way to passively detect, identify, and track aerial drones and their ground-based operators to protect airspace from inadvertent or unlawful misuse near U.S. airports. CACI-built solution will help ensure safe, shared airspace while supporting UAS users’ right to operate their aircraft.
