By combining fan trays and power supplies on rear of chassis, VT840 allows 6 AMC slots – divided among 2 sets of 3 slots for full redundancy options with failover – in single module size. Each set of slots have their own dedicated PCIe Fabric, GbE, Power Module, clock structure, and management. Dual integrated shelf managers are also provided, and mezzanine approach permits various front panel I/O options in compact, dedicated space. There are 4 SFP+ ports for 10 GbE and 4 SFP for GbE.
