Main responsibilities Draft specifications for the development of new Land Monitoring products and services with regard to identified user needs Manage the Land Monitoring products and information services to meet the identified user needs Provision of advice and assistance in any area associated with the procurement, provision, delivery, maintenance, deployment, hosting, effective use of information systems and their environments Provision of security technical consultancy, security assessments or other security matters associated with information system projects Manage and produce clear and qualified requirements from unstructured information Organise, prioritise, specify and model the requirements Validate requirements with stakeholders Develop test scenarios Conduct user acceptance tests Maintain up to date system documentation. Ideal candidate Education University degree minimum 4 years postsecondary education or duly recognised as equivalent to Level 6 EQF Bologna process in a relevant field A degree of engineer or a PhD is considered as an asset. Experience Minimum 5 years of relevant professional experience. Knowledge and skills Proven ability to speak, write and read in English CEFR C1 Rapid selfstarting capability and experience in team work Good knowledge of different types of information systems e.g. web applications, archiving solutions, GIS Proven knowledge in IT consulting Ability to participate in multilingual meetings, good communication skills Capability of working in an internationalmulticultural environment Ability to prepare and give presentations. Knowledge of Remote Sensing EO data and processing.
