GVSU, Aquinas team up with employers to offer housing to summer interns

Dormitories at Grand Valley State University's downtown Grand Rapids campus will be alive with activity this summer, as the school welcomes about 100 students from throughout the U.S. with summer internships in the Grand Rapid-area. The university partnered with more than 20 companies, ranging from Meijer and Spectrum Health to Steelcase and the Van Andel Institute, to offer housing to summer interns between May and early September, said Susan Proctor, employer development manager at GVSU's Career Center.
