We are currently looking for a Galileo Systems Operations ICT Engineer to support our customer in Germany. Galileo Systems Operations ICT Engineer Key Tasks and Responsibilities In this role you will ensure that the ground ICT infrastructure and in particular the Galileo Data Dissemination Networks GDDN and EDDN is operationally consistent with project requirements to deliver Galileo Navigation Services reliably and sustainably. You will have the responsibilities Support the development and implementation of the ICT operation concept for the Galileo systems Contribute to the procurement of the Galileo GDDN and EDDNs Ensure the compliance of the GDDN and EDDN with the project requirements Monitor the provision of the GDDN and EDDN services as defined by applicable SLAs, following the progress of the implementation of new requirements, monitoring the anomalies resolution, and evaluating the service performance Lead the coordination of the validation, operations, maintenance and endtoend communication systems of the Galileo Ground Segments in close coordination with the network equipment providers Follow up the development of the Ground Segment ICT, providing the required operations inputs for design, deployment and integration up to support to acceptance Ensure followup of any problems in any of the ICT systems in use, detected during infrastructure operation and validation at GCCs Contribute to the definition of the data network concept and related Ground operations of the Galileo Second Generation, including Operations Concepts, Operations Requirements and Operational Service documents Provide technical support to the procurement of the Galileo Segments and System. Skills Experience You will have the following qualifications and relevant experience University degree in an engineering discipline Significant experience in position for communication engineering, system integration and validation, with some experience in management tasks A proven experience in in a commercialindustrial environment is required Experience related to developments in the Galileo project GIOVE, IOV, FOC will be considered an asset Fluency in English is mandatory knowledge of another European language is an advantage.
