General Election 2015: Candidates for Cynon Valley announced

The seat has been held by Ann Clwyd , from Cardiff, since 1984 and she will be fighting to retain the seat in May as she stands as the Parliamentary Welsh Labour candidate. The candidates for the Cynon Valley constituency were officially announced last week and also include: Chris Beggs, from Cardiff, Socialist Labour Party; Keith Richard Dewhurst, from Cardiff, Welsh Conservative Party; Cerith Griffiths, from Cardiff, Plaid Cymru The Party of Wales; Angharad Bethan Jones, from Ystrad, Welsh Liberal Democrats; John Matthews, from Abercynon, Wales Green Party; and Rebecca Jane Rees-Evans, from the Cynon Valley constituency, UKIP.
