The long-beleaguered Highway Trust Fund is expected to get another brief respite - this time in the form of an extension to authorization - but still no long-term solution. A two-month extension was introduced on Friday by House Republicans, just two-and-a-half weeks before the authority to finance transportation projects expires, according to an article from The Columbus Dispatch.
