Houston-based building-products co. makes another multimillion-dollar acquisition

Houston-based Quanex Building Products Corp. , a supplier of window and door components, made its second multimillion-dollar acquisition of the summer. Quanex said Aug. 31 it agreed to buy St. Cloud, Minnesota-based Woodcraft Industries , which supplies doors and components to original equipment manufacturers in the kitchen and bathroom cabinet industry.
