Human Behaviour Performance Specialist MF Telespazio VEGA Deutschland has been supporting the European Space Industry for over 30 years, including ESA, DLR, EUMETSAT and CNES. This is an opportunity for an experienced Human Behaviour Performance Specialist, with proven expertise in the design and development of training to support the European Astronaut Centre in Cologne, as part of a team of training experts in the domain of human spaceflight. The position is unlimited and will start around 30th of July 2015. Submission deadline for applications is 19th of July 2015. RESPONSIBILITIESDUTIES We are recruiting to organize and support Human Behaviour Performance training for the European Astronaut Centre. This role includes the planning, preparation, implementation of training courses as well as ensuring the training material is up to date and properly maintained. This includes Support to design, development, logistics preparation, cofacilitation and followup administration of Human Behaviour Performance HBP, Human Factors and Instructional Techniques Course ITC courses for astronauts, ground support personnel and personnel of Analogue environments Maintenance of the HBP course catalogues in the Astronaut Training Database ATD, update of training material including lesson plans Support to the coordination and implementation of HBP seminars and events Support to the review of ISS Partners HBP training and HBPWG activities Support EAC Human Factors activities, including training, reviews, collection of lessons learned Review and summarisation of Human Factors and HBPrelated publications and transfer into the EAC Human Factors library Coauthoring of EAC publications on Human Factors and HBP training Develop proposed observationperformance rating sheets in order to integrate HBP and technical observations for training and simulations Provide requirements and review development for integration of HBP Training Materials checklist into Astronaut Training Database Catalogue manager QUALIFICATIONSEXPERIENCE University degree in Psychology or equivalent Working experience in Human Factors CRM or related training development Proven subject matter expertise on behavioural competency models Subject matter expertise on ISS andor similar operational environments ESSENTIAL SKILLS Excellent communication skills Good team member Workload management flexible and organized and able to plan time effectively and manage changing priorities Decision making Good organisational and leadership skills Strong ability to work independently with high attention to detail Mastery of the English language, in both spoken and written form The ability to work in a multicultural environment DESIRABLE SKILLS Proven subject matter expertise on the International Space Station HBP competency model Subject matter expertise on ISS andor analogue environments BENEFITS Competitive salary plus a comprehensive benefits package including 30 days holiday, generous training possibilities and Telespazio VEGA Deutschland pension scheme is offered to the successful candidate.
