Responsibilities Duties The Senior Database Administrator will be part of the TPZVD IT Support Team in the delivery of IT services to the client. The work shall include analysis of the requirements design, integration, validation and documentation of IT solutions Possible participation to the oncall rota. Qualifications Experience A university degree in Computer Sciences or equivalent. At least 5 years proven experience in the field of database installation, configuration and tuning. The successful candidate will have strong goaloriented and planning capabilities, coupled with very good problemsolving skills and a pronounced customer focus. Applicants should have strong communication and collaboration skills, be able to work in a diverse team environment and accomplish goals in line with team objectives. Experience operating critical IT infrastructure environments, working in mixed operating system environments, managing technical service transition, creation and maintenance of support documentation. Interesting to learn and dealing with modern technologies. Essential Skills Expert knowledge of ORACLE databased products v11v12 enterprise edition. Expert knowledge of POSTGRES database. Knowledge of database programming Solid knowledge of database performance monitoring and tuning. An advancedlevel command of English and an ability to present output in a clear, concise and understandable way, both orally and in writing. Experience with Linux OS RHEL, SLES and derivatives Proactive and confident personality. Ability to manage assigned activitiestasks accountability and respect for deadlines. Good Troubleshooting skills of Incidents and Problems providing when necessary root cause analysis. Desirable Skills Agile project management approach Project Management certification like PMP or equivalent.
