To safeguard new and existing installations, Digital Insulation Meter determines integrity of insulation by identifying capacitive, absorption, and leakage current at multiple test voltages and resistance up to 20 GΩ. Diagnostic tool also measures earth-bound resistance to verify continuity of protective bonding. Sensing and displaying AC/DC voltage to 600 V, meter calculates Polarization Index and Dielectric Absorption Ratio. Unit will disable itself if connected to live circuit exceeding 30 V.
