Karnes County Sheriff: Homes "covered in oil" following Encana oil rig accident

Several homes remain "covered in oil" and may require complete reconstruction following an oil rig accident east of Karnes City. No injuries were reported but an accident at the Dromgoole B 8H oil rig owned by Encana Corp. sent oil and natural gas into the sky last week.
