For the current quarter, the former consumer-electronics unit of Dover Corp. projects profit of seven cents to 15 cents a share and revenue of $285 million to $305 million, including the effect of its recent acquisition of Audience Inc. Analysts surveyed by Thomson Reuters had projected a profit of 28 cents a share with $290.7 million in revenue. Chief Executive Jeffrey Niew said company officials estimate Audience, part of Knowles' mobile consumer unit, will bolster sales by about $10 million but also cost the company about 18 cents a share in profit.
