Supplied in SOIC8 package, MLX80030 supports local interconnect network (LIN) bus and enables development of LIN slaves. AECQ100-qualified IC combines physical layer LIN transceiver with 3.3 V voltage regulator that has reset output for system MCU. Based on 0.35 µm HV-CMOS process technology, transceiver draws 15 µA in standby mode. Other features include standby management function, load current limitation, over temperature shutdown, and 40 V load dump protection.
