Lancaster Colony says frozen-food business challenged by changing consumer tastes

The Columbus company behind popular food brands Marzetti, Simply Dressed and others is dealing with a shift in consumer preferences away from frozen foods. Lancaster Colony Corp. recorded $303.4 million in revenue for its fiscal second quarter ended Dec. 31, a 3.8 percent increase over the same quarter the previous year, but its profit fell 16 percent to $33 million .
