Our German subsidiary ACSD provides consultancy service at EUMETSAT Darmstadt. Selected candidate will sign permanent full time contract and work at EUM premises. For our activities in Germany, we are looking for a person to provide MTG Schedule Service. TASKS 3.1 Service Management Plan and control tasks execution ensure the availability of the service, resources and skills manage the staff providing the service ensure complete and consistent outputs provide a service manager for formal reporting and communication with EUM 3.2 Task 1 Support to system management Maintain a development logic and schedule of the MTG Programme for the integration, validation and verification of the system track activities progress against plans and schedule and signal any deviations provide once per month a schedule summary report for the Schedule Control Board identify interactions among subsystems and partnerscontractors and associate them with development milestones and work breakdown structure generate and analyse schedule performance indicators, milestone trend charts 3.3 Task 2 Maintenance and management of the MTG planning schedules Establish, monitor, maintain and control the MTG Programme planning and schedules improve and maintain multilayered programme planning files and schedules monitor and control programme planning and schedules generate periodic scheduling status reports prepare and contribute to monthly programme meetings on planning and schedule management, monitoring and control assist programme team leaders followup subsystem developments and participate in meetings and reviews REQUESTED University degree in a management or engineering discipline At least 3 years proven handson experience in project planning, scheduling, monitoring and control. demonstrated experience in large system developments, Space andor Ground Segments is considered to be an asset Extensive handson experience in schedule preparation, monitoring and control, for complexlarge system programmes, preferably space systems, as well as in planning and monitoring the allocated resources Extensive experience in using Microsoft Project or a similar project management tool suite e.g. Primavera, Knowledge of and handson experience with project management standards e.g., ECSS and project scheduling concepts and techniques, Ability to draft concise management reports and executive level presentations in English, Extensive handson experience in using the Microsoft Office Suite and in particular Microsoft Word, Excel and Access. Fluent in English. knowledge of French would be considered an asset EU national or valid work permit for Germany CV in Europass format
