Mainland Chinese airlines outshine Cathay Pacific in stock market rally

While the share prices of mainland Chinese carriers have risen sharply, Cathay Pacific Airways has yet to gain much altitude. Photo: K.Y. Cheng Cathay Pacific Airways is being outshone by mainland Chinese airline stocks which are catching up with their A-share valuations, with China Southern Airlines having risen almost five times more than the Hang Seng Index since the middle of March.
