Aurora has the opportunity to expand our support to ESA in the Directorate of Technology Engineering and Quality DTEC. Overview Support in the management of the Directorates resources and technical infrastructure. Support in the implementation of the Directorates overall workforce resource planning, competency evolution and controlling. Implementing and operating uniform procedures and information systems for the management and control of activities , ensuring proper coherence and quality of data participating in the definition of efficient processes, methods and tools, with particular emphasis on continuous improvement. Monitoring recruitment, functional and integrated support, competency evolution and succession planning. Workload planning and controlling and maintaining interfaces with the corresponding counterparts in other Directorates. Maintaining a detailed view of the workload and workforce evolution at competency level, implementing a proactive controlling function and performing the necessary analysis to support regular reporting and the related decisionmaking processes. Controlling the Directorates Analysis Centre. Financial implementation of contracts, controlling and reporting. Compilation and analysis of resource data. Control of the Directorates manpower Analysis Centre forecast, monitoring, analysis and control of all costs contributing to theDirectorates manpower rate. Development and maintenance of ad hoc and monthly reporting and analysis of resource status. Development of reporting dashboards using Tableau software. Specific qualification requirements A Masters Degree in Engineering or MBA. At least 4 years relevant working experience. Familiarity with SAP and good proficiency in MS Excel a must. Familiarity with the agencys cost model would be a distinct advantage. Excellent analytical and reporting skills with the ability to manage large complex data sets and have an affinity with manpower control. Should demonstrate excellent communication skills and be client focused. Proven ability to work autonomously, whilst being a cooperative team player. Experience in creation and development of Tableau dashboards. Experience in international environments. Autonomy in the execution of tasks and ability to manage workload and identifying priorities ability to cope with pressure, meet deadlines anddeliver on time. Fluent in English knowledge of another Member State language is anasset. Able to work autonomously and with initiative whilst remaining a team player. Service orientated. Legal and Security Requirements All applicants must be legally allowed to work in The Netherlands Applicants are required to provide a copy of their passport and degree certificate. Aurora will validate the Degree with the issuing University and provide evidence to ESA. Prior to issuing a letter of employment the applicant shall provide to Aurora a recent official document declaring that they are of good conduct from the country where currently resident. Location The work will be performed at the European Space Technology and Research Centre ESTEC at Noordwijk, The Netherlands. Contract The selected candidate will receive good remuneration in line withESA Job Class. Will be registered for both social security and tax in the Netherlands. The standard working hours are 40 per week. There are 12 public holidays and an additional 30 annual days holiday. The location for this position is on one of the major sites of our client in Southern Germany. Airbus DS is one of the key players in the European satellite and launcher industries. At the Immenstaad site around 2500 people are employed, working on space and defence projects. The space division is specialized in Earth Observation, Navigation and Science. In this position as Junior Development Engineer Payload System Simulation, you will be responsible for design, prototyping and analysis of algorithms. The list of tasks is as following Tasks and Responsibilities Design, prototyping and analysis of algorithms for the gemoetric, radiometric and spectral processing of remote sensing data from spaceborn instruments imager, radar, sounder Support definition, implementation and use of simulation models to generate representative data for the analysis of these algorithms, covering the scene of observation, the instrument signal path and the relevant satellite characteristics Support establishment of specifications for the operational processing of satellite remote sensing data Requirements Degree in Aerospace Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Software Engineering or comparable field. Your Tasks To ensure the successful production of current generation navigation spacecraft we are looking for a junior to intermediate Satellite Navigation Payload Engineer. You work closely with spacecraft systems, structural, thermal, and Assembly Integration and Test AIT engineering to ensure satisfactory navigation payload performance during ground testing and inorbit. Support test campaigns by analysing measured payload performance and assessingtroubleshooting anomaliesnonconformances. Analyse any nonconformances for impact and gain approval from customer. Review and assess supplier documentation and participate in review meetings design, qualification, testreadiness, posttest, acceptance, etc. as customer. Assess onorbit performance and anomaly reports. Travel regularly to suppliercustomer sites supporting testing and technical meetings as above.
