Metro-North to stop train service at 4pm Saturday

Officials at the Metropolitan Transportation Authority announced Saturday afternoon that the last Metro-North train to go in or out of New York City will occur at 4:00 p.m. The MTA released the following statement on their website as New York Governor Andrew Cuomo declared a travel ban for New York City Saturday afternoon. Due to deteriorating road conditions and poor visibility, NYC Transit and MTA Bus service will begin an orderly shut down of all local, limited and express bus service at NOON.
