Microsoft Support Engineer 1613056 Job Description We are looking for a Microsoft Support Engineer for our client EUMETSAT. You shall be part of the Service Support Team of the ICT Unit, which is responsible for the ICT infrastructure Servers, Storage, Network to the other teams as well as providing Email, File, Print and FTP Services to the organisation.Some of the detailed tasks include Operate, maintain and monitor Microsoft Exchange File Cluster Print Server FTP Server Active Directory PKI Office Communications Server OCS System Center Operations Manager SCOM Microsoft SQL Cluster Esker Fax Server Windows Servers. Create, update and maintain procedures to operate, maintain and administer the system Provide 2nd level user and technical support Liaise with the external service provider and if necessary escalate 3rd level incidents Contribute to the procurement of information technology services, systems and components by providing specifications and performing price inquiries, as well as act as interface with hardware and software suppliers regarding procurement, warranty and maintenance issues Required Skills and Experience A University degree in the engineering, mathematics, physics, or computer science or similar domains Five years of experience in administering Microsoft Exchange File Cluster Print Server Office Communication Server System Center Operations Manager Windows Server 2008 SQL Cluster Active Directory DNS. One year of experience in administering Microsoft Exchange 2013 Windows Server 2012. Ability to plan the work and to cope with tight schedules and multiple tasks. Ability to write technical documentation. The working language for the position is English and you must be able to work effectively in this language. Desirable Skills and Experience Experience and knowledge in any of the following areas will be considered an additional asset Knowledge of ITIL Experience with PKI Experience with KEMP Loadmaster.
