Mission Operations Coordination and Management Support

Position Reference 073 You will have the opportunity to support the PDGS Operations Manager with in depth technical coordination of all aspects of the TPM PDGSs this includes routine operations, evolution projects, and relationship with third parties and mission bodies. Tasks and Activities The scope of work will include Responsible for End to end monitoring of the TPM PDGSs performance. To this purpose, you shall have an overall and in depth view of PDGS architectures and service implementations, and shall have a detailed understanding of interactions at both system level i.e. through technical ICDs and service level i.e. through contractual SLAs and service interaction agreements Monitor and control incidents trends, risks, etc. and ensure incidents resolution across the TPM PDGSs according to the service levels and quality standards agreed with the different operations teamsservices. When necessary, ensure adequate anomaly root cause analysis and problem resolution. Support the PDGS Operations Manager with the generation of weeklymonthlyquarterly management and operational reporting taking inputs from the various services, and systems. Responsible for operational endtoend coordination among common services, TPMspecific services and thirdparty actors i.e. external to GT organization. Responsible of overall configuration and documentation management within the TPM PDGSs. Ensure, in collaboration with the various operations teamsservices, optimization of TPM PDGS resources, identify potential bottlenecks and propose resource upgrade when necessary. Contribute to the optimization of endtoend processes and improvement of service efficiency. Contribute to the improvement of the TPM PDGSs and the adaptation to product and usage evolution e.g. by proposing architecture or application changes. Responsible towards the TPM mission manager of EarthNet budget dispatching to scientific projects and TPM specific projects coordination. Skills and Experience The following skills and experience are mandatory You have a University degree or equivalent qualification in a technical discipline, preferably in Earth Observation or Computer Science. You have at least 5 years of working experience in the area of PDGS operations of ESA missions or representativesimilar environment. You have experience on Payload Data Ground segment architecture andor operations. You have the capacity to acquire In depth technical understanding and knowledge of PDGS systems overall architecture, data flows, interfaces, dependencies in a limited time You have experience with configuration management, change control and release management You are proactive, you have good communication skills and you are a team player You are results oriented You are capable to work autonomously You are capable to generate good documentation. You are fluent in English. You have strong project management skills and experience You are able to complete complex tasks with minimal guidance and to work and cooperate with others. You have experienceknowledge on serviceoperations best practices, management and processes.
