More Hawaii visitors to Downtown Las Vegas improves Boyd Gaming's bottom line

Hawaii residents may travel to Las Vegas to win big at the casinos, but other companies are lining their pockets thanks to visitors to the ninth island. In Boyd Gaming's third quarter earnings report, the company said its Downtown Las Vegas had net revenues of $53.4 million in 2014, up 1.3 percent from the same quarter a year ago.
