Premier Denis Napthine is facing a furious electoral backlash from thousands of real estate agents across Melbourne, angry over changes allowing unlicensed operators to sell and lease commercial properties. Agents have pledged $1 million to an anti-Napthine campaign during the election campaign after the government last week revealed that anyone involved in the sale or leasing of commercial property in Victoria will no longer need an agent's licence if the property is worth at least $15 million, or has a total floor space of at least 10,000 square metres.
