Suitable for welding environments, Balluff Weldblocks are constructed with fiberglass reinforced composite that inherently resists weld spatter while effectively combating grounding loops and EMI. Weldblocks promote machine mount distributed modular architecture with IO-Link. Network node with IO-Link master communicates over EtherNet/IP with PLC or controller of machine, while IO-Link ports can be connected to variety of IO-Link enabled smart sensor devices or Balluff IO-Link I/O hubs.
