RHEA is currently recruiting an Optical Engineer to support the Optics and OptoElectronics division at our clients premises in Noordwijk, The Netherlands Tasks and Activities The scope of work will include Performance analysis of optical payload. Stray light analysis of complex optical systems Conceptual design of optical systems, as telescopes, spectrometers Translation of optical payload requirements into optical specifications Definition of optical performance validation and calibration plan Analysis of test results Follow on of technology development high precision optical components Skills and Experience The following skills and experience are mandatory At least a university degree or equivalent qualification in Optical Engineering or Physics or equivalent qualification by experience. A minimum 4 years of project andor industrial experience in the design, engineering and testing of various types of optical instrumentation Good technical judgment and solid communication skills verbal and in writing are necessary Proactive attitude to solving problems and an interest for innovative technologies.
