Metropolitan Transportation Authority officials were met with consternation on Tuesday from business owners and residents concerned about future work at two railroad crossings at the Glendale-Los Angeles border. Metro held two community meetings, one in Atwater Village and the other at the Glendale Fire Department Environmental Management Center, to outline three proposed options to enhance two problematic crossings - Doran Street and Broadway/Brazil - said Patrick Somerville with HNTB, the firm consulting on the project.
